-adjustable cam gear(like AEM)
-tools
-factory service manual
-6pack of beer
step 1:
open a good helms service manual, follow proceedures for finding TDC
once found, do them.
NOTE: u can folow this link as a guide from this site-"OZ racing's" camshaft installation
step 2:
take out cam ( and for valve adjusting afterwards)
use your tools, manual, and 6 pack of beer to get the cam out
step 3:
put the a6 cam in.
step 4:
the a6 cam is "keyed" half a tooth off from TDC compared to the b7. what this means is that you have to "redial" this half a tooth difference on your adjustable cam gear to get the new a6 cam "zero'ed out". otherwise youll be half a tooth off depending on how you installed the cam in the first place.
step 5: follow manual for finishing the job, adjust your valves
